Vietnam Airlines adds 20,000 seats for Tet holiday

Vietnam Airlines has announced it will add 108 flights with nearly 20,000 seats during the peak Tet period, from January 16 to 30, to meet the increasing demand of passengers during the Tet holiday.
Accordingly, this is the fourth time the national flag carrier has increased its flights.

Flights will increase on major routes linking Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Hue.
In the period from January 6 to February 2, 2023, total flights Vietnam Airlines operates in its domestic network will reach approximately 9,200, with nearly 1.9 million seats.
Earlier, the carrier increased its Tet flights in August and December 2022. It has recorded a rapid growth in ticket bookings in the days near Tet./.
