New Board of Management of the German Business Association in Vietnam

(CPV) - The annual general meeting (AGM) of the German Business Association in Vietnam has just elected its new Board of Management 2016 via video-link in Ho Chi Minh city and in Hanoi.

Following this AGM’s election result, on January 28th, the GBA Board appointed in the first GBA Board Meeting the new Chairman for year 2016, Mr. Jens Ruebbert, who will continue his second term to serve the Board’s clear mandate that is in favor of the members’ benefits and the merger for the future bilateral German - Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce (AHK Vietnam).

The GBA Board Management 2016 is defined as follows:

Chairman: Mr. Jens Ruebbert - Managing Director & Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank AG

Vice Chairman in Ho Chi Minh city: Dr. Pham Thai Lai - President & CEO of Siemens Limited Vietnam

Vice Chairman in Hanoi: Mr. Roman Kuebler – General Director of B. Braun Vietnam Co., Ltd

Treasurer: Dr. Evert Helms - General Director of Pepperl + Fuchs (Vietnam) Co., Ltd

Delegate to EuroCham: Mr. Borries Plass - General Director of Agency Spring Vietnam

The GBA (founded in 1995) approved and licensed by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh city in 1998, is the voice and advocate of German businesses in Vietnam, fostering bilateral socio-economic relations between the two countries.
