The central province of Khanh Hoa greeted 4.15 million tourists in July 2019, a year-on-year rise of 11%.

Of this, foreign tourists numbered more than 2 million, a year-on-year rise of over 24.8%. Revenue from accommodation services was estimated at VND14.82 trillion, a 20.87% rise. Total tourism revenue of the province reached an estimated VND24.04 trillion, a 25% increase.
From the beginning of the year, China, Russia and the Republic of Korea still account for a large proportion among markets sending tourists to Khanh Hoa. As of the end of June 2019, the locality received 1.2 million tourists from China, up 36.21%, followed by Russia 243,674, up 3.7% and the Republic of Korea 99,359, up over 235%.
Traveler numbers from the UK, France, the US, Canada and Australia decreased 10-15% compared the same period last year.
Khanh Hoa set a target of welcoming more than 6.8 million tourists in 2019, up 7% from the previous year, including 3.3 million foreigners, up 18%. Tourism turnover is expected to hit VND22.5 trillion, up about 9%./.
