Hai Phong: Red Phoenix Flower Festival 2022 to include over 70 events

The highlight of the 2022 Red Phoenix Flower Festival will be an art program, themed “Hai Phong - Successful Destination”, held at 8 pm on May 13 at the Opera House Square.

On April 13, the Hai Phong City People’s Committee held a press conference to announce information about the 2022 Red Phoenix Flower Festival.
Deputy Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Khac Nam said the art program will be organized with innovative and creative content, modern stage, famous singers, stars and sound effects. After the art show, there will be low-range fireworks.
Besides the main activities, the festival will also feature more than 70 typical economic, cultural and tourism activities; such as a ceremony to announce and receive the title of 9 national treasures, Hai Phong Open Golf Championship, a puppet show and an Ao Dai festival.
On this occasion, Hai Phong will launch the ground-breaking ceremony and inaugurate more than 20 major works and projects; such as some green park projects in districts, new rural construction works in communes; and a 5-star hotel project in 2A So Dau new urban area.
The Red Phoenix Flower Festival has been held in Hai Phong since 2012. This is an outstanding activity that contributes to building and introducing Hai Phong’s image to domestic and international friends./.
