Pu Ta Leng International Paragliding Tournament promotes Lai Chau’s tourism

This year's paragliding tournament gathered 100 pilots, including 3 foreign pilots from the UK and Singapore, with 2 competitions: long distance and precise landing. The starting point is at Si Thau Chai village (Ho Thau commune) while the landing point is at the stadium of Tam Duong town.

The three-day event offered opportunities for paragliding pilots to exchange and learn, contributing to further promoting the development of paragliding in Vietnam and enhancing integration with sports activities in Southeast Asia and the world.

A series of activities was held during the event such as displaying and introducing the cultural space of Lai Chau ethnic groups, exhibition of orchids and macadamia products, “One commune, one product” (OCOP) and specific agricultural products of Lai Chau.

In addition to the participation of 20 ethnic groups living in Lai Chau, the above activities also attracted the participation of 8 expanded Northwest provinces and 2 big cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City./.
