On May 19th, thousands of voters in Cu Lao Cham island in Tan Hiep commune, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, actively took part in the election of 14th NA and People’s Council deputies at all levels (tenure 2016-2021).

Dao Be (Little island) in Ly Son island district, measuring 0.69 km2, is known as for its beautiful white sand beach surrounded by spectacular cliffs formed by lava.

The Vietnamese community in Germany on April 24th lodged a formal protest in front of the Chinese Embassy headquarters (Munich, the capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria), protesting illegal activities of the Chinese administration in the East Sea.

(CPV) - Following the protest by the Vietnamese community in Seoul on March 27th, another peaceful protest was held in Busan Station, Busan city, by the Association of Vietnamese communities on April 3rd.

As many as 32 fishing vessel owners in the central province of Quang Tri have accessed preferential loans for shipbuilding, while 55 others have been approved to get loans for upgrading their vessels under the implementation of Government Decree 67 on policies to boost fisheries development.

In 2015, agencies, organizations and enterprises, and the Fatherland Front at different levels, increased activities of assistance for the country’s sea and islands, the Ho Chi Minh city Fatherland Front has reported.
