The number of domestic tourists to Hanoi in the first quarter of 2022 is estimated at 2.8 million, up 45.3% over the same period last year, reported the City Department of Tourism.
Total revenue from tourists reached an estimated VND 7.8 trillion, up 45.3% over the same period of 2021.

As of March 2022, Hanoi has 3,725 tourist accommodation establishments with more than 70,000 rooms; of which 591 hotels have been rated from 1-5 stars with 24,415 rooms, accounting for 15.9% of the total number of tourist accommodation establishments in the city.
In the first three months, the average occupancy rate of 1-5 star hotels is estimated at 19.3%, down 1.9% from the same period of 2021.
Currently, many localities and travel agencies in Hanoi are actively building new tourism products to be ready to welcome tourists and resume the tourism market in 2022./.
