So far, 16 international travel businesses; 82 tourist accommodation establishments; 28 zones and attractions; 8 shopping centers and 48 transport units in 5 localities have registered and been selected to participate in the pick-up in the first phase.

Notably, foreign tourists all had positive feedback when they experienced exciting and attractive sports tourism, entertainment, health care services, and resorts at famous destinations in Vietnam.

They are satisfied with the quality of services, confident about Vietnam’s epidemic prevention and control measures, as well as measures to ensure the safety of international visitors.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed fully reopening international tourism from March 31, 2022, with inbound and outbound tourists welcomed at all international border gates.

The tourists accepted into Vietnam must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (with certificates) at least 14 days before entry, or have proof of recovery from COVID-19 within six months prior to entry. (There will be separate requirements for partially vaccinated or young children).

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the Government to announce the time of fully reopening international tourism activities and direct relevant ministries, branches and localities to coordinate with the Ministry to synchronously carry out solutions./.
