VNAT, Vietjet cooperate to promote nation’s tourism

(CPV) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and Vietjet Air on March 28th signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the cooperation during the 2019-2021 period.

Accordingly, the two sides planned to increase promotion on mass media; introduce publications, documents and market researches; cooperate in an international tourism fair; organize domestic destination surveys and events and more.
In his speech at the signing ceremony, VNAT Deputy Head Ha Van Sieu hailed the role of the aviation sector in the development of the tourism industry as well as the close association between VNAT and Vietjet Air over the past time.
He hoped the MoU would contribute to raising the responsibility and improving the efficiency of cooperation between the two sides in order to promote air routes and destinations of Vietnam to the world.
Vietjet Chairwoman Nguyen Thanh Ha judged that the signing ceremony is an important basis for the two parties to promote and introduce Vietnam’s beauty, people and tourism to the world. It contributes to creating many attractive products and services, which meet the taste of customers.
The MoU also provides travel opportunities and convenience to Vietnamese and international tourists, connecting Vietnam to destinations around the world, where Vietjet has direct flights.
The move is also a concrete effort to contribute to the implementation of the target plan assigned by the Government leader to welcome about 18 million international visitors in 2019./.
