Bac Ninh Province: International and Development

The northern province of Bac Ninh has just approved a list of investment attraction projects in the locality in 2024, with a vision to 2030, including 167 projects, with an area of ​​about 11,638 hectares, said Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan.

On August 12, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, met with Mr. Jason Lo, CEO of Johnson Group (Taiwan, China), to discuss the implementation of a project to manufacture sports equipment (Factory No. 2) at Thuan Thanh I Industrial Park.

On July 16, a delegation led by Mr. Park Sang Woo, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea (RoK), visited and worked in Bac Ninh province.

From July 3 to July 13, a provincial delegation led by Dao Quang Khai, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, paid a working visit to European countries, including Germany, the Czech Republic and Hungary, to promote investment cooperation.

The opening ceremony of the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth and Children's Football Tournament – 2024 Television Cup was co-organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Radio and Television, the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Youth Union of Bac Ninh Province at the Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium on July 10.

On May 31, an event titled “ Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac Cultural Night” took in Paris to promote cultural values of the northern province of Bac Ninh which is often referred to as Kinh Bac – a land with long history and ancient culture in Vietnam.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024), Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, on May 2nd visited and presented gifts to the families of martyrs, soldiers, and frontline civilians who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in Tu Son city.

The Bac Ninh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported that the number of tourists to Bac Ninh province was estimated to reach 65,000, an increase of 8% over the same period in 2023 and its revenue reached 45 billion VND during the National Reunification Day (April 30th) and May Day holiday.
