The Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee and the Indian Embassy in Vietnam co-organized the Vietnam-India Music Exchange Program in Bac Ninh province on August 13 by on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of India's Independence Day (August 15, 1947 - 2023)

On July 25, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, at the Thuan Thanh Nursing Centre in the northern province of Bac Ninh, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers' Day (July 27, 1947-2023).

In the first quarter of 2023, the total fishery production in Bac Ninh province was estimated at nearly 11,000 tons, reaching 26.7% of the plan and increasing by 0.3% over the same period in 2022, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has reported.

On April 19, Vuong Quoc Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, received a delegation of Japanese pottery experts led by Mr. Hideki Sanada, Head of Toho village, Japan’s Fukuoka prefecture, to work in Bac Ninh to promote the implementation of pottery craft development in Phu Lang village, Phu Lang commune (Que Vo town).

On April 17, Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, attended the investment promotion conference with Taiwanese electronic enterprises (China), involving 10 successful Taiwanese investors and 42 enterprises that are studying investment opportunities in the province.

Nearly 150 foreign and domestic diplomats and representatives of foreign organisations and business associations in Vietnam have gathered in the northern province of Bac Ninh to learn about the locality’s charming features.

According to a report by the Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, in March, the province reported 269 newly established enterprises, an increase of 19.6% over the same period in 2022, with a total registered capital of more than VND3,144 billion, an increase of 57.7 %. The rate of online business registration applications reached 100%, ranking first in the country.

From the beginning of the year to March 20, Bac Ninh province attracted 55 newly registered FDI projects, an increase of 31 projects compared to the same period last year; with the amount of newly registered capital reaching USD480.6 million, an increase of USD424.1 million.

The 12th International Photo Contest 2023 has been jointly organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the International Federation of Photographic Art, and Photographers Without Borders of France in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Since the beginning of the year, the northern province of Bac Ninh has attracted 29 foreign-invested projects with a total registered capital of 131.56 million USD and 3 projects with 285 billion VND.

Although not the locality with the most prizes, the northern province of Bac Ninh has made a special mark when it gained the highest percentage of students winning prizes in the country.
